Office Coordinator

Araceli – Optical Coordinator

Araceli formerly worked for Premier Eyecare of Jackson as a receptionist and has returned to work as an Office Coordinator. In her free time she loves to spend time with her family and friends, baking/decorating Tres Leches cakes and strives to one day have the perfect garden.  

Opticians

Courtney – Optician

Courtney is an ABO Certified Optician. She has over 20 years of experience and really enjoys assisting patients with their glasses. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, traveling and attending sporting events.

Katie

Katie – Optician

Katie has almost 20 years of experience as an Optician. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Haley – Optician

Haley is an ABO certified Optician. She started in the Optical field in 2016. She is also a certified Ophthalmic Assistant. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Loretta – Optician

Loretta has been an Optician for 14 years & truly enjoys helping patients. During her time off, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Technicians

Carrie – Technician

Carrie is passionate about her career working in health care. She has over 30 years of experience in Customer Service. She has been Dr. Schefferly’s Technician since 2022. In her free time, Carrie’s favorite hobby is quilting. She enjoys spending time with family and her best friend.

Tara – Technician

Tara has worked as a Certified Medical Assistant in the healthcare profession for the past five years. She now works as Dr. Arnold's technician on a daily basis.  In her spare time she likes to go to amusement parks, concerts, comedy clubs and spend time with family and friends.

Special Testing Technician

Mary – Special Testing Technician

Mary formerly worked for Premier Eyecare of Jackson and has returned to be a Special Testing Technician.

Mary enjoys working with patients to service their optical needs. She also enjoys traveling to visit family.

Patient Coordinator

Jackie

Jackie is a Patient Coordinator in our office. She attended Jackson Community College and has several years of medical receptionist and banking experience. Jackie loves spending time with family and friends, DIY projects and also supports the End Alzheimers Walk every year.

Mara

Mara has worked in the health care field for several years and is attending school for Medical Billing and Coding. She enjoys family game night and is an active supporter of addiction recovery.

Billing Department

Sarah

Sarah is a graduate of Baker College of Cadillac. She has worked in the healthcare industry working with billing and insurance verification for 10 years. She enjoys crafts, traveling and spending time with family.

Liz - Billing Assistant

Liz worked in the accounting department at Jacobson Stores for many years, until they closed. She has worked as a medical assistant at the Allegiance Sleep Health Center before coming to Premier Eyecare of Jackson. She currently works in patient services and billing departments.
